Part 141 Approved

Indy Flight Training is now FAA Part 141 Approved!

IFT is proud to announce that our program has been approved by the FAA as the ONLY Part 141 school in Central Indiana!

What does Part 141 training mean?

As a Part 141 approved school, IFT now has the capability to train students to receive their private pilot’s license in as little as 35 hours. By using the Cessna Multimedia Training Course, our structured syllabus allows pilots to become proficient in less time without gaps in their training.

After you complete your private pilot’s license, you may continue on to Part 141 Instrument Training. Other Part 61 schools require 50 hours of cross country flying to qualify for an instrument rating. At our school, this is no longer required! This is a savings of over $7,000*!

Is a Commercial Rating in your future? We can help! Schools which have not been chosen at a Part 141 school require at least 250 hours for a commercial pilot’s license. At IFT, you can receive your commercial license in only 190 hours! This is a savings of over $8,000*!
